Christopher Barrows received his license to practice law in 1999. He then joined the law firm of Cambell, Kyle and Proffitt where he practiced both family and criminal law. Mr. Barrows joined Phelps & Fara in 2001 where he began to practice family law exclusively. Currently, Mr. Barrows is an associate with the law firm of Avery & Cheerva LLP where he limits his practice to family law. Mr. Barrows is a Registered Family Law Mediator, and a Certified Family Law Specialist. Mr. Barrows has been instrumental in the inception of the use of Parenting Cooridinators to reduce family conflict in Indiana. He regulary assists with the training of Parent Coordinators and was involved in drafting model orders for use by Indiana courts. He has also provided testimony to members of the Indiana General Assembly regarding the development of legislation in that area.
